I know I have post cards of that place some where. Most people I know around here (I now live in Georgetown and worked in Newbury for 20 years) know nothing about it. I can remember a big pirate ship on an outcropping of rocks (near where the stat police station is now) right on route 95. I also remember Fort Apache that was in the vicinity of where the DPW is now. I would love to learn more. I think I went there but I am not sure. I just remember driving by all the time.
